Course Description:

This online course is designed to provide educators with a way of understanding the importance of teaching mindfulness, and brain science to students. Educators will learn how to promote optimism, happiness, gratitude, empathy, and kindness in students. This course will offer a compilation of strategies that educators can implement to help students learn to understand, and manage emotions such as anger, sadness, and fear. This online course is targeted for K-12 classroom teachers, specialist programs including special education, literacy, and gifted and talented, and instructional coaches and principals.
