Made for less than three years, the uncommon and really cool wristwatch featured in today's offering is as a prime example of one of these a 70's retro Omega dress watch.
It features a large somewhat TV shaped case with big hoods, a distinctive pacific blue dial, and a high-grade automatic Omega movement tucked inside the chunky case with water-resistant style screw back.
Measuring a large-for-the-era 37mm in diameter by 44mm long lug tip to tip, it is pleasingly larger than most vintage watches.
Powering the watch is Omega's automatic caliber 1012 engine found in Seamasters and other models from the era. It has 23 jewels, seven more than most Omega's from the era.
The watch has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - our photos couldn't begin to do it justice!
Its large, masculine case presents as mint. Its original dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing looks Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration, the movement has just been fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It winds smoothly. We have also timed it on a machine that spins in all directions simulating it being worn on the wrist, and it is keeping time nearly on par with a new Omega.
For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

Omega Geneve:
Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve). According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
